If you are not a member of Troop 332 and are here to learn more, Welcome!  Please feel free to browse around our site to learn some more about us.  Some of the site is locked down to members of Troop 332 only.   We welcome new members at any time, and you may just show up at one of our Troop meetings if you like.   If you like what you see or want to learn more, please click on "Contact Us" on the left side of this page.

This site is the place to come to for all of your Troop 332 needs.  The Calendar contains all of the Troop's meetings and events as well as the meetings for each Patrol. (Use the Patrol Filter to see just what is relevant to you).   The Troop Roster is also available if you need to contact anyone in your Patrol or any of the leaders.  The Upcoming Events will show the next few calendar items that are relevant to you. 

Most of this site requires you to be logged in to access.  You should have received your username and password in an email.   If you have not, or have forgotten yours, please select Request new password on the login screen.  Your login name is your first name, a period, and your last name. 

Reminder: Advancement Weekend -- April 15-17th (No meeting in St. Ray Gym tonight)

Reminder that tongiht is the beginning of Advencement Weekend.  All scouts on the campout can begin to arrive at Greis Park after 6pm.  We will begin with setting up our camp.

Please remember:

  • All of your gear for the weekend
  • Uniform
  • Book
  • Court of Honor reply form & payments for Mrs. Gogel
  • Enthusiasm !!

Eagle Court of Honor & Breakfast – April 24, 2016

We are headed to our Spring Court of Honor where we recognize the achievements of our Troop for the last four months, and most notably our two newest Eagle Scouts – Isaiah Callahan and Owen Dredger. 

We will also recognize the achievements and Rank advancements of our other Scouts, so we invite all our Scouting family to participate.  Details of the Breakfast and a request form for volunteers are attached to this note.  Please review, and respond to Lorraine Gogel as soon as you can.  Additionally, we are putting together our Court of Honor journal.  Scout may help solicit ads of congratulations from our community businesses or from friends and family.

Schedule of April 22, 23, 24

  • Friday, April 22
    • Troop meeting to review advancements & conduct any Boards of Review outstanding before the Court of Honor
    • Passover Holiday - Happy Pesach for our Jewish Scouts and families!
  • Saturday, April 23
    • St. Raymond’s Cafeteria Setup – 12 Noon – 2pm
  • Sunday, April 24
    • Kitchen Help – Food Set-up & Final Touches
    • Scout Mass – 8:45am all Scouts in St. Raymond’s Church in full dress uniform (Medals & Merit badge sashes)
    • Eagle Breakfast – 10am following Mass.
    • Clean up following breakfast

Breakfast Fees: Uniformed Scouts and Leaders - $0.  Parents and siblings - $10 per person.

Please come to the meeting and ask any questions you may have!

We appreciate all of our Scouts hard work and all of the support of you, our Scouting families!!

Troop Meeting – April 8

 This week’s meeting will focus on Advancement Weekend preparation.  We will:

  • Last Menu Tweaks – Money distribution for shopping
  • Patrol Gear Assignments – who will pick up Patrol gear from Mr. Schenk’s house during the week.  See Mr. Schenk for times.
  • Instructions for April 15th Arrival to Greis Park

Greetings and Happy Easter!

 I hope folks have gotten some rest on the week off.  We are back for a Troop meeting this Friday, April 1st where we will continue getting organized for our upcoming events.

 Troop Meeting, Friday, April 1st – 7:30pm

  • New Scouts meet with Mr. Honerkamp at 7:30pm to review advancements, merit badge process, and expectations for upcoming campouts.
  • Advancement Weekend – Patrol menu finalization & Food assignments
    • Parents please attend close of meeting for food and money instructions
    • Logistics of weekend
    • Additions of any last attendees
    • Greis Park Arrival, Friday 4/15 at 6pm --- Departure, Sunday 4/17 approx. 10am.

 Senior Patrol Leader Candidates

  • All Scouts interested in being considered for the position of Senior Patrol Leader (SPL) should present themselves to Mr. Honerkamp at the Troop meeting.
  • Candidates for SPL need to be at least First Class rank, participation in Troop activities & camping, attended summer camp with the Troop, and the approval of the Scoutmaster.
  • Election of SPL is scheduled for meeting on May 6th

 Other Announcements

  • Eagle Court of Honor – Sat, 4/24
    • All Scouts and families are asked/invited to attend – celebration of our new Eagles
    • Mass at 9am (8:45am); Eagle breakfast following in Cafeteria
    • Iroquois District Camporee – May 20-22 – Hempstead Lake State Park
      • Registrations on-going; T-Shirt deadline is past
      • Parents welcome to come for Saturday evening campfire
      • Last sign-up May 8th
